In the two-year period 2010/2012 the whole tourism sector is affected by a negative trend due to the reduction in consumption, which in fact affects all sectors.
Frigerio Viaggi does not stop and in 2012 the Milan offices move to new and larger spaces in the city center.
On the programming front, the Group's historic catalog “Vacanze Mirate” is completely revamped and transformed into WOW, the first mag-alogue in Italian tourism, that is, a publication that combines the practicality and solidity of the programming (over 100 pages of vacation proposals all over the world) with the intelligence, cheerfulness and glamour of a magazine: a rich section of columns, trivia and interviews complete the catalog.Frigerio Viaggi's investments continue throughout 2013 on the new technology front: the agency equips itself with a Customer Relationship Management CRM system, to have a more incisive and targeted dialogue with its clients. To offer an even more complete product, it structures a dynamic packaging platform for online sales: the system allows the different components of the trip to be assembled to build the tailor-made package, with real-time updated availability and the possibility of finalizing the booking online. Flights, hotels, transfers, but also parking, ground services, excursions and activities. And, thanks to an agreement with Trenitalia, Frigerio Viaggi is the first network to offer train reservations on its website.
On the Business Travel side, there are two technological systems in which Frigerio Viaggi invests: CTMP and FVER.CTMP, Corporate Travel Management Portal, is the online environment at which the “corporate” user can take advantage of all Travel & Expenses services offered by Frigerio Viaggi: information, travel service reservations, post travel services and integrated reporting.
FVER, Frigerio Viaggi Expense Report, is Frigerio's proprietary expense report system. With FVER, companies can reduce process traversal time on the administrative and accounting side in the order of more than 50 percent, when compared to a manual (non-automated) and paper-based expense report management process.
In 2014, the Group's focus is on celebrating Frigerio Viaggi's 40th year in business and on two major innovations, once again in the field of new technologies: WOW is the first Augmented Reality catalog in the Italian tourism world. This is a technology that allows you to consult interactive content through your device (smartphone or tablet) starting from the printed copy of the catalog.
The second novelty concerns the launch of the group's new websites with responsive technology (i.e., automatic adaptation to any mobile device).
